GOODI started with a simple question: why does great food have to be complicated, slow, or expensive? Chef David Park spent 15 years in fine dining kitchens — from Seoul to San Francisco — before opening GOODI with a different mission.
He wanted to create a place where fresh, thoughtfully prepared food was accessible to everyone. Ne pretension. Ne waits. Just excellent ingredients, cooked with skill, served fast, and priced fairly.
Five years later, GOODI has served over 10,000 gosti and earned a reputation as one of NYC's most-loved neighbourhood restaurants.

What We Stand For
Three principles that guide everything we do at GOODI.
We source from local NYC farmers and prep everything in-house, dnevno. Ne frozen shortcuts. If it's not fresh, it's not on our menu.
We hire locally, support neighbourhood suppliers, and donate leftover food to local shelters. GOODI exists because of this community.
We won't cut corners on quality to save a buck. Every dish leaves our kitchen only when it meets Chef David's exacting standards.
